WHO IS A NEWCOMER?
Any resident who is new to Nanaimo and the surrounding area, or whose circumstances have changed may apply for membership to the Club upon payment of the membership fees, will become a member.
OUR PURPOSE
We welcome newcomers to Nanaimo. Through a wide variety of activities we facilitate social networking and we help you learn more about your new community. We are a nonprofit, co-ed group.
OUR BUDDY SYSTEM
We provide a buddy for the first three months of membership to help you become familiar with club processes and introduce you to other members.
HOW TO SIGN UP
CHOOSE ONE OF 2 METHODS:
Come to our Monthly Meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of the Month, 7 p.m. at the Legion, 1630 East Wellington Rd. You can sign up for membership and activities. Activity Posters and signup sheets are on display. Enjoy a meal, our guest speaker, activity updates and socializing.

After you sign up at the meeting or on online, you will receive a welcome package with the following:
- Links to our website, private Facebook Group and email.
- Our Monthly Calendar for activities, date & time.
- Our Activity & Convenors Chart: More details about activities. If you missed signing up at the meeting, you can find the Convenor on this chart and contact to sign up.
